Athletistic / Motorsport. On September 22, the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix began in Suzuka on the circuit of the same name. The second free practice ended a few minutes ago.
As in today’s first practice, the winner was Red Bull driver Max Verstappen. The Dutchman completed his fastest lap in 1 minute 30.688 seconds. He beat Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc by 0.32 seconds and McLaren’s Lando Norris by 0.464 seconds.
Note that at the end of training, the Alpine driver crashed with his car at turn nine. The Frenchman locked his right front wheel entering the corner and was unable to turn the car, sinking into the gravel and flying into the barriers with the front of the car.
