German, four-time Formula 1 champion Sebastian Vettel could resume his career as a professional driver in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), reports Automobile, Motor and Sport .
According to the publication, Vettel, 36, received an offer from the British Iota team, which competes in the LMP2 category, to take part in tests in Spain in early October.
— Nothing has been signed or decided yet, but I’m thinking about it. “I still have time to make a decision,” Vettel said.
Previously, the German did not rule out his return to Formula 1. Vettel retired from racing at the end of last season and his place at Aston Martin was taken by Spaniard Fernando Alonso. Vettel is a four-time world champion with Red Bull (2010-2013) and later also drove for Ferrari.
