The most important changes at the circuit relate to the renewal of the infrastructure and safety measures. In particular, the capacity of the stands has been increased to 40,000 seats, the parking spaces have been modernized, the fan zone and VIP areas have been expanded, including the Formula 1 Paddock Club.
Organizers have updated the paddock, medical and media centers, as well as the boxes, the number of which has been increased to fifty. New mesh guardrails from Swiss Geobrugg have been installed along the track, which meet FIA Grade 1 safety standards and provide a good view of the track from the stands.
In addition, the marshals’ posts and light panels on the circuit have been updated in accordance with the FIA and FIM motorcycle federation standards.
