Daniel Ricciardo continues to prepare for his return to action after injury and has completed intensive simulator work at Red Bull Racing’s base in Milton Keynes this week, but his fitness will undergo another test ahead of the Austin round.
A week before the race in Austin he will do demo rides in Nashville, the capital of Tennessee. This city is also considered the capital of American country music, which Daniel is very fond of.
The team is holding the Red Bull Showrun in Nashville for the first time and Ricciardo’s participation in it was planned in advance even when he served as the team’s reserve driver, but now conditions have developed in such a way that the first car he will drive after an enforced break will be the 2011 RB7 model.
The improvised demo route runs along the so-called ‘Lower Broadway’, one of the central streets of Nashville, where the famous entertainment district is located. Given the growing popularity of Formula 1 in the US, you can expect Red Bull’s racing show to attract a large audience.
