Athletistic/Formula 1. Britain’s Lewis Hamilton has admitted his guilt in a collision with teammate George Russell at the start of the Qatar Grand Prix.
“I apologize to the whole team. I think it was more of a racing incident, but all the blame lies with me. George had nowhere to go. Would I have done something differently? Looking back, you always want to do something differently,” Hamilton said after the race.
Hamilton, who started third, fought with his teammate and compatriot George Russell and, crossing the first corner on the outside line, collided with him on the left side.
