Both Williams drivers visited the Losail circuit medical center on Sunday – Logan Sargent during the race and Alex Albon after the finish…
Alex Albon (13th): “I’m glad Logan is doing well, leaving the race is always unpleasant. I think it was one of the toughest races of the season and I also suffered from overheating.
The pace was quite high, we have to analyze what happened because we were in a good position, but in the end we were out of the race for the points. We also have to deal with overheating of the cockpit.”
Logan Sargent (meeting): “The most important thing is that Alex and I are in good health. I felt bad all week and the heat left me dehydrated.
The last thing I wanted was to quit the race, but health comes first. My apologies to the team for not making it to the finish line. They have done a fantastic job under these difficult circumstances. Next week I will be fully recovered and I am already looking forward to the race in Austin.”
