British pilotMercedes » Lewis Hamilton was fined for crossing the potentially dangerous track during the Qatar Formula 1 Grand Prix race, RaceFans reports.
The race took place on Sunday October 8. On the first lap, Hamilton collided with teammate George Russell. The winner was Red Bull driver Max Verstappen from the Netherlands. Having left the car after the accident, Hamilton crossed the track on foot while cars from other teams were there.
Due to potentially dangerous behavior, the Briton was fined 25,000 euros and also received a warning. It is worth noting that Hamilton apologized for his behavior.
Hamilton had already been blamed for his collision with Russell, who finished fourth in the race.
