Ricciardo, who missed five races with a broken arm, will compete in the United States Grand Prix

Alpha Tauri Driver Daniel Ricciardo recovered from a broken arm and will participate in the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, reports the team’s press service.

The Australian suffered an accident at the end of August while training for the Dutch Grand Prix. It was later learned that Ricciardo suffered a fractured metacarpal bone in his left hand.

– I’m glad to be back. My hand is feeling much better, the simulator was a great way to assess that. I’ve always loved Austin. “It’s unique for a modern circuit,” Ricciardo said, as quoted by the team’s press service.

The Australian missed five races due to injury (including the Dutch Grand Prix) and was replaced in the team by New Zealander Liam Lawson.

The United States Grand Prix will be held in Austin from October 20-22.
