After two cold and cloudy days in Barcelona, the sun finally came out – the third and final day of Formula 2 testing took place in good weather. In the morning, as the riders worked out qualifying, championship leader Felipe Drugovic completed the lap in 1:27.529. Since then, no one has been able to improve on this result.
During the day it got even hotter, but the teams switched to collecting data on long series and the lap time dropped by two seconds in one go. The tests were interrupted three times by red flags – Vips, Vesti and Hauger stopped on track.
The Formula 2 tests are over, tomorrow the Formula 3 tests start in Barcelona.
