Famous actor Keanu Reeves was the official guest of the British Grand Prix on Saturday. The Canadian actor revealed that he was filming a documentary about the unexpected success of the Brawn GP team in the 2009 season, as an interviewer for the lead actors – Ross Brown, Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello.
On Sky Sport, Reeves spoke about his impressions of qualifying…
Keanu Reeves: “It’s nice that qualifying was rainy. It’s interesting to be so close to what’s going on. Silverstone and rain seem made for each other. It’s unbelievable to see how fast riders go through corners in such difficult conditions!
I am here at the invitation of Ross Brown, he is a true legend and a wonderful person. We met him, worked together – and he invited me to visit the Grand Prix. We are making a documentary about the 2009 season to tell the wonderful story of the Brawn GP victory.”
