Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has won qualifying for the United States Grand Prix, the 19th stage of the Formula 1 championship, held in Austin, America.
Leclerc’s best lap time was 1 minute 34.723 seconds. Second place was taken by the British Lando Norris (McLaren), the third was the British Lewis Hamilton (“Mercedes”).
Max Verstappen of Red Bull set the fastest lap at the end of qualifying, but his time was not counted due to a track limits violation. The Dutchman finished sixth in qualifying.
