Less than a month remains until the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which Formula 1 owners are betting on, in a bid to make the stage on the city circuit one of the brightest, if not the brightest, of the season. Today, organizers revealed some details of the opening ceremony, which will start two and a half hours before the start of the race.
A colorful show is planned on the starting grid, which will be seen not only by visitors to the paddock club and holders of tickets for the main grandstand, but also by everyone thanks to a live broadcast on the YouTube platform.
An important part of the opening ceremony will be the introduction of all twenty drivers, as was done in Austin in 2017 and before the race in Miami this year.
In addition to the direct participants in the race, artists from Cirque du Soleil, the Blue Man group will perform on the starting grid and “nine legendary musicians” will also give a concert. The list includes Andra Day, Bishop Briggs, J Balvin, Keith Urban, DJ Steve Aoki, Swedish House Mafia, Journey and Thirty Seconds to Mars, with Will.i.am closing the opening ceremony.
