Nico Hulkenberg holds his 200th Grand Prix in Mexico City…
Question: Niko, congratulations on your 200th Grand Prix start. Did you ever think you would drive more races than Prost, Lauda and Mansell?
Nico Hulkenberg: They competed in a different era, when there were much fewer races per season, now it’s much easier to collect more Grand Prix. However, this is an achievement. I’m very happy to have crossed the 200 Grand Prix mark.
I’m looking forward to the weekend in Mexico City; it’s a cool place that will be even more special for me this week.
Q: What advice would you give your 23-year-old self when you started your Formula 1 career? What do you regret?
Nico Hulkenberg: There’s not much regret. Of course I wouldn’t make every decision again, but we can’t predict the future, so live and learn. I still have a lot to achieve, I am still motivated and looking to the future.
