Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen set the fastest time during the first free practice session of the Formula 1 Mexican Grand Prix.
The three-time champion’s result is 1 minute 19.718 seconds. The second was Alexandre Albon (“Williams”, +0.095 seconds), third is Verstappen’s teammate Sergio Perez (+0.297).
The second training session will take place on Saturday evening Moscow time. Third practice and qualifying will take place on Saturday, and the race on Sunday.
