Triple world champion Max Verstappen led the final protocol of the last free practice session of the Formula 1 stage in Mexico. The Dutch driver’s best lap time was 1 minute 17.887 seconds.
The Williams driver finished second in the race. Alexandre Albon , representing Thailand (+0.070 seconds). The leading trio was completed by Verstappen’s Mexican teammate. Sergio Perez (+0.139).
It was previously reported that Verstappen would be accompanied by personal security at this Grand Prix. At the final stop in the USA, the current champion was booed at the awards ceremony.
Stage qualifying will begin at 00:00 Moscow time.
