Before the start of the weekend in Interlagos, the FIA spoke about changes to the circuit compared to last year and the location of two independent DRS zones.
The TecPro barriers at the exit of the first bend on the right have been replaced by blocks of tires reinforced with a conveyor belt.
The asphalt surface from the entrance of the sixth turn to the exit of the seventh was replaced, the width was increased on the right to 5.5 meters.
There is a safety rail between turns 9 and 10 on the right, and between turns 10 and 11 on the left.
All areas with artificial grass have been renewed.
The two independent DRS zones remain the same. The point for measuring the interval between cars before the first is at the top of the second turn, and the activation point is thirty meters after the third.
The interval measuring point for the second DRS zone is located thirty meters after the 13th bend and the activation point is 160 meters before the 15th.
