The Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will not be canceled due to the situation in the Middle East, journalist Chris Medland reported on social media, citing race organizers.
Previously, some media covering Formula 1 reported that the organization of the competition was under threat due to the armed conflict in the Middle East between Israel and Palestine.
“There are rumors that the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is under threat this year. Formula 1 has said this is not the case. I was told there was no need to make the decision to cancel the races,” Chris Medland wrote.
The Abu Dhabi stage will take place from November 24 to 26 and will be the last of the season.
