The race in Las Vegas starts at 10 p.m. local time on Saturday, while in Moscow it is already 9 a.m. on Sunday. Ross Brawn, who took an active part in organizing the stage, spoke about an interesting feature that the teams will face next week.
Ross Brown: “At first we had not taken into account that it is very cold at night in Las Vegas at this time of year. The race starts late Saturday evening and by then the temperature will have dropped to three to four degrees above zero.
So it will be very cold, and driving racing cars in such conditions will be a challenge. Pirelli had to work to ensure the tires could handle these temperatures.
We will certainly face new challenges that we have never faced before, but I think we are in for a spectacular run.”
