Jean Todt: Ferrari has almost everything it needs to succeed

Former Ferrari team manager Jean Todt said on France’s Canal+ that in his view the Scuderia is currently not enough to regularly compete for victories.

Jean Todt: “The Ferrari team is different because it evokes emotion and passion like no other. But if something does not work out, the press and fans begin to put pressure on them, which can lead to a change in leadership, and this is not always justified.

When I was in charge of Ferrari, I had an advantage at my disposal that allowed us to succeed: we could benefit from stability. Now the team has almost everything it needs, but as we know, winning back the last thousand is the hardest part.

To achieve victory you have to bring all the components together, and Ferrari cannot do that. A little, but it doesn’t work.”
