The city of Las Vegas, which will host the next round of the Formula 1 season, is known for its diverse nightlife, including numerous casinos. True, many fans will visit various entertainment venues, but Formula 1 participants will not have time for entertainment.
Mercedes boss Toto Wolff promised to ensure that his team employees are not distracted from work on the track and do not go to the casino.
Toto Wolff: “I think everyone is looking forward to the Vegas stage. The race in this city is comparable to climbing Everest. We have to take our hats off to Liberty Media for organizing this race.
I don’t think I’m the only one from Formula 1 who hasn’t been to this city before, which is quite tricky to navigate. We don’t know how to get from the hotel to the highway and back, but I’m sure we will find a solution. I’m looking forward to the race.
Like I said, I’ve never been to Vegas, but we’ll make sure everyone on the team stays away from the casinos. I am not playing and I will personally ensure that no one plays here either.”
