Daniel Ricciardo drove the F1 23 simulator around the virtual circuit in Las Vegas and got a feel for it, and quite a bit of fun at the same time. The AlphaTauri driver thinks that many interesting things await us next weekend.
“This is my first lap at the Las Vegas track, and I don’t even know where to go,” Daniel said during the lap. – That was cool! And now I have problems – physically I am doing well, but my psychological state is so-so….”
This is what he said when he crashed into the barriers in one of the turns.
“Overall the track here is nice,” he continued. – Oh no, not this! This is the same bend I flew out of last time. I like that the track is flooded with bright lights, but we have to do something not to be distracted by everything we encounter.
And now Nico Hulkenberg made a good attack against Logan Sargent, pushing him to the sideline – he did well. But I’m not doing so well – Lance Stroll bumped into me and keeps pushing my car. Stop!
Well, we were given penalty seconds for causing disruption on the track!..” (laughs)
Then Ricciardo drove a sprint race of just one lap, and here he distinguished himself and apparently won, although he did not concentrate on this.
“I had a lot of fun! – he said at the end. – I hope you enjoy the Las Vegas Grand Prix too – I’m even sure of that. And don’t forget that you can play F123 for free during the race weekend! See you see you in Vegas!
