Alfa Romeo has prepared a special version of the car’s livery for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, and the team’s drivers, Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou, presented it the night before during a meeting with fans at the Aria Hotel.
As always, the C43’s design was developed by the company’s designers at Alfa Romeo’s Centro Stile, who this time were inspired by the image of Las Vegas as the ‘entertainment capital’ of the world.
The car turned out to be largely black, but with stylized images of playing cards with the number 6 – that’s how long the collaboration between Sauber Motorsport and Alfa Romeo has lasted. Quadrifoglio is placed in the center of the card: a symbolic four-leaf clover, one of the symbols of the Italian company.
Similar elements can be seen on the riders’ overalls, and they are also used in the design of the team’s boxes.
