Alex Albon admitted that it is becoming increasingly difficult for Williams to contain the attack of AlphaTauri, who are also fighting for seventh place in the Constructors’ Championship, especially as the gap between the two teams has been reduced to seven points.

Alex Albon: “I would say we are already feeling the pressure from AlphaTauri, this team is overtaking us in the Constructors’ Championship, but we are still focused on our own tasks. Although our rivals have improved significantly in recent races, it is now important for us to work as best as we can this weekend.

At the same time, AlphaTauri is becoming an increasingly serious threat, not only for us, but even for Alpine and in general for all the teams in the middle of the peloton. It is becoming increasingly difficult to contain their attack, there are still two races to go and the difference between Williams and AlphaTauri has been reduced to just seven points. But we hope that in Las Vegas we will have a more competitive car than in Mexico and Brazil.

I believe that not everyone will be able to finish in the next Grand Prix and the task is to do everything we can, although in theory the AlphaTauri car should be faster than our FW45 on this circuit.”
