Verstappen noted that such spectacles around racing make drivers look like clowns and expressed the opinion that it is more of a spectacle than a sport. He added that maybe that’s how they make money, but stressed that it’s not his preference. The driver stressed that he does not like this kind of spectacle and prefers to evaluate events only from a racing point of view.
