Russian and Israeli pilot Robert Schwartzman behind the wheel of a Ferrari will take part in the first free practice session of the final stage of the Formula 1 season – the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, reports the press service of the Italian team.
The Scuderia’s main drivers are Monegasque Charles Leclerc and Spaniard Carlos Sainz Jr. This season, Schwartzman replaced Sainz in the first practice of the Dutch Grand Prix, finishing in 19th place. Last year, the 24-year-old took part in training sessions in Austin (USA) and Abu Dhabi.
The first and second free practice sessions of the Formula 1 stage in the United Arab Emirates will take place on Friday, the race will take place on Sunday.
