Haas reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi and Ferrari Racing Academy driver Oliver Berman will take part in the tire and youth tests at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi on November 28.
Gunther Steiner, Team Principal: “We have an exciting line-up of drivers for the final races of this season. The team values Pietro very much, especially when we need to collect data for the next season. It is only natural that he will continue the tire testing work that started at Silverstone.
Oliver had a great first training with us in Mexico City. “His attitude, work ethic and feedback have impressed us, so we are pleased to give him the opportunity to spend more time with the team and expand his knowledge of the Formula 1 car.”
Pietro Fittipaldi: “It’s always great when the opportunity arises to get behind the wheel of Formula 1 and develop further with the Haas team. I am happy to have the opportunity to drive the final laps of the season for the team.”
Oliver Berman: “I’m looking forward to taking part in the youth testing with the Haas team in Abu Dhabi. On Friday we have our first training together and after that it will be wonderful to work behind the wheel all day.
The youth tests are the last chance for the team to collect data for 2024 and I will try to do it well. I immediately felt comfortable with the team when we first met in Qatar and I enjoy working with them. I look forward to meeting everyone in Abu Dhabi.”
