Jehan Daruvala said goodbye to Formula 2

Jehan Daruvala will make his Formula E debut next year as part of the Maserati team, and we’ve talked about this, as well as the fact that 20-year-old Argentinian Franco Colapinto will drive one of the MP Motorsport cars during the F2 season finale in Abu Dhabi.

But only today did the Indian driver officially say goodbye to Formula 2, where he spent four seasons and twice, in 2021 and 2022, took 7th place in the individual competition.

“I am officially saying goodbye to Formula 2! – Jehan wrote on his social media pages. – This weekend in Abu Dhabi I will no longer be at the start, as I focus on preparing to continue my career in Formula E.

During my time in F2 I stood on the podium 18 times and won 4 times. I had the opportunity to work with the best specialists from the best teams – I am truly grateful for everything I learned! Finally, I would like to thank everyone who has always supported me: my family, friends and fans! See you at the races in January!

I wish the MP Motorsort team a successful season finale!”

By the way, Colapinto’s debut in F2 is not the only replacement in the youth series teams: Estonian Paul Aron will replace Clement Novalak at the wheel of one of the Trident cars.
