Bottas will once again participate in the Adelaide festival

Valtteri Bottas will once again be one of the most important guests of the racing festival in the Australian city of Adelaide – the Adelaide Motorsport Festival (AMF) will be held for the second time in March next year.

As in 2023, Bottas will hold several demonstration races, their detailed program has not yet been announced, but last spring he drove around the city circuit in an Alfa Romeo sports car and also drove a Holden Commodore with 645 hp, prepared for the Australian Supercars touring car championship.

After this, the Finnish Formula 1 driver was elected the first member of the honorary club of AMF ambassadors.

“I had a lot of fun at the Adelaide Racing Festival last year, so I will definitely be back there in March,” said Valtteri. “I’ll be driving some really crazy race cars, including rally cars, as well as some of the most iconic Australian sports cars, and there could be some surprises.”

By 2024, the AMF program will include a variety of racing categories – from Formula 1 and Supercars to GT and Indycar. anything that is of interest to the Australian audience in some way.

It is already known that among the cars she will see will be the Benetton B190, in which Nelson Piquet won the Australian Grand Prix in Adelaide in 1990, the Mazda 767B sports prototype, which once won Le Mans, and the Nissan Skyline GT-R sports cars, which won the Bathurst 1000 mile race in 1991-1992, and other famous racing cars of the past.

The Adelaide festival takes place on March 16 and 17, a week before the Australian Grand Prix.
