In the second practice session in Abu Dhabi, Alex Albon set a 16th fastest time, and his Williams teammate Logan Sargent was 18th…
Alex Albon (16th): “I’m a bit out of trouble this weekend, but I’m not the only one: many riders did not participate in the first training and the second was interrupted several times by red flags.
We have a good pace over the long distance, but with the settings it is not that easy. We have to see what Logan had to compare.”
Logan Sargent (18th): “The most important thing is that our car is very competitive here with a lot of fuel. I feel comfortable behind the wheel and am looking forward to tomorrow.
Our rivals from AlphaTauri seem to have a high pace with little and a lot of fuel, but I hope we have enough speed to challenge them.”
Zach O’Sullivan (18th in the first session): “I really enjoyed today. This is my first time in Abu Dhabi, my first time driving a Williams F1. As the session progressed I made good progress and became more comfortable with the machine and the different procedures.
Thank you Williams Racing. I’m looking forward to the young driver test on Tuesday to make even more progress.”
