The contracts of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz at Ferrari expire at the end of 2024. The composition of the Scuderia will not change next season and the team expects to continue its collaboration with the current riders.
The Italian press, citing sources within the team, claims that detailed negotiations have already begun with Leclerc and Sainz on the terms of new contracts, and that at the moment all parties are happy with their progress. The negotiations are being conducted personally by the head of the Scuderia, Frederic Vasseur.
It is still impossible to talk with confidence about the terms of the new agreements, but rumors say they are for two-year contracts. If the parties reach an agreement, and expert sources estimate the likelihood of this happening to be very high, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will continue to drive for Ferrari until the end of 2026.
Officially Ferrari does not comment on anything, but Frederic Vasseur previously called the winter break the right time for negotiations.
