Ciao Collet, Brazilian MP Motorsport driver, set the fastest time on the final day of testing in Barcelona. He is driving in Formula 3 for the second year and today, during the qualifying simulation, he applied his experience by driving a circle in 1 minute. 31,507 seconds.
At the same time, he was 0.317 seconds ahead of Alexander Smolyar, his Russian partner, who showed the second result, and Argentinian Franco Colapinto, a representative of Van Amersfoort Racing, closed the top three. By the way, it was he who drove the most laps for the second day in a row.
This all happened in the morning session and after the break, when the riders mainly worked on long series of laps, William Alatalo, who plays for Jenzer Motorsport, scored. The result is 1 minute. 34,488 seconds.
The second time of the session was shown by Campos racer Pepe Marti, but he lost almost half a second to the Finn. The third result went to Arthur Leclerc, the younger brother of Charles Leclerc, who currently leads the world championship.
Smolyar didn’t hit the track at all in this session due to technical problems with the car.
