Alpine Academy has another addition

Nicola Lacorte, who competes in Italian Formula 4 and has already achieved victories, has become a new student at the Alpine Academy.

The 16-year-old Italian is the son of Roberto Lacorte, an entrepreneur and racer who has been at the start of the Le Mans Marathon more than once and has competed in the American IMSA Championship in recent years.

Lacorte Jr. moved from karting to F4 at the end of the 2022 season and in 2023 he drove one of the Prema cars and won the first round of the season in Imola. Granted, he never made it onto the podium again, but he finished the season in 9th place in the individual rankings.

Julian Rouse, Director Alpine Academy: “It is great that Nicola is joining our youth program for the 2024 season. We continue to expand the Alpine Academy program and welcome new talent to support them throughout their careers.

We will contribute to Nikola’s professional development, both on and off the track. Like others in our youth program, he will benefit from training at the Alpine Academy and exposure to the Alpine F1 Team.”
