Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, has been elected an honorary member of the British Racing Drivers’ Club (BRDC), a prestigious association that only accepts those who have achieved outstanding achievements in motor racing.
Brown is an American but has made a real contribution to British motorsport, not to mention the progress the Woking team has made during his years in charge of the McLaren racing division. In addition, United Autosports, the British team he co-owns, is successful in endurance racing.
“Zac Brown has been recognized for his outstanding contribution to British motorsport as Chief Executive of McLaren Racing and has been elected an honorary member of the BRDC,” the club said.
Naturally, Brown was grateful for the honour: “I am proud to have been invited to become an honorary member of the BRDC as this club is truly the heart of British motorsport and it is a real privilege to be part of it . ”
