Max Verstappen continues to receive congratulations for winning his third title this season. Former Formula 1 driver Gerhard Bergrer considers Max the best driver in history. Considering Berger was once Ayrton Senna’s teammate, he knows what he is talking about.
Gerhard Berger: “Never in my life have I seen such dominance. Max is a driver who always gives 120%, like Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher or Lewis Hamilton. However, I am sure that after the races Max will return to the wheel of the simulator and constantly participate in virtual races.
There is no doubt that he lives for Formula 1. Racing is his passion. I think Max is the best driver of all time.”
Responding to Helmut Marko’s recent statements that Red Bull Racing will have a more difficult time next season, Berger said: “Such statements are quite typical. Hellmuth is just trying to take the pressure off himself. Personally, I believe that Red Bull will be unbeatable again next season.
However, Formula 1 is good because surprises are possible; something can happen at any time. Either way, I’m looking forward to 2024.”
