Our sport has come a long way and I am extremely grateful to the Formula 1 teams for their universal support. I have worked with many women and men who work in Formula 1 and the FIA who have the best interests of our sport at heart.
However, this recent episode is not transparent and defies explanation. I receive insults about my work and my family. I will not allow anyone to blackmail me and will not back down until I find out who exactly organized this campaign and misled the press.
What happened this week is simply unworthy of our sport. Formula 1 deserves better treatment and we must make our demands.”
