The current Agreement of Agreement, which defines the responsibilities of Formula 1 and the teams, ends in 2025. Ferrari team boss Frederic Vasseur believes that caution is required when signing a new contract…
Frederic Vasseur: “In this situation, size, organization and regulations do not matter. But if we have eleven teams, we are more vulnerable than if there are ten of us. If the company is growing and everyone is positive and optimistic, that’s great. But I’m not sure it will always be this way.
You must remember this. At every team briefing we say that spending needs to be increased. We take inflation into account, change the ratios, include capital expenditures, and now we are told we will have to cut revenues.
It is difficult to run a business when such changes occur often. The downside is that we don’t learn from the past, and that’s a big problem.”
