Sebastian Montoya will remain active in Formula 3 next season. The 18-year-old driver’s switch from Hitech Pulse-Eight to Campos Racing was announced today. Montoya’s partners in the new season are Oliver Goethe and Marie Boya.
Sebastian Montoya: “I am very happy to be joining Campos Racing for the upcoming Formula 3 season. To be honest, we have made good progress in testing since my return to the team, although the race in Macau did not deliver the results we had expected.
We have potential, and we must make the most of every opportunity. We know the car is fast enough to earn points regularly. I hope we can fight for podiums and victories.”
Last Formula 3 season, Sebastian Montoya’s best result was second place at the finish of the Saturday sprint in Melbourne. In Macau, the son of former Formula 1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya did not reach the finish.
