Former manager of the seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher Willi Weber said that due to the lack of news about positive dynamics in the pilot’s condition, he had lost all hope of seeing him again.
Schumacher suffered a serious head injury in late 2013 while skiing in the French Alps. He was taken by helicopter to hospital and subsequently underwent several operations. There is practically no reliable information about Schumacher’s health in recent years.
“Of course, I really regret not visiting him in the hospital right away and I blame myself for it. I cried like a dog after the accident. This hit me incredibly hard. At some point the time came when I had to let him go. When I think of Michael now, I unfortunately have no hope of ever seeing him again. No positive news after ten years,” quotes Weber.
