There was a small problem with Kevin’s bike, otherwise everything went as perfect as possible. Thanks to the whole team for their efforts.”
Kevin Magnussen (8th): “Great weekend for the team. After four or five failed races we finally got lucky – this time everything worked out. This weekend we were fast.
Throughout the race I had few problems with the bike, prayed it wouldn’t explode – and was very happy to finish. This weekend we had a great qualifying, great performances in the sprint and in the race. I’m very happy”.
Mick Schumacher (6th): “Today I fought Lewis again – it was fun! I behaved very differently from yesterday, realizing that I had to take care of the tires. I soon realized that we could not pass the race with one pit stop – the wind was constantly changing, it was not easy to control the tires.
I scored points in the second race in a row, everyone in the team is happy with this result and on top of that I was recognized as the “Rider of the Day”. Thank you for this”.
