Leclerc won the Austrian Formula 1 race, leaving overall leader Verstappen second

Charles Leclerc on the “Ferrari won the Austrian Grand Prix in the Formula 1 World Championship.

The Monegasque driver managed to build up a reserve before the last laps of the race and to maintain an advantage over Max Verstappen of “Red Bull Leclerc crossed the finish line 1.532 seconds ahead of the competitor.

Behind them finished two “Mercedes” Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. Moreover, on the same lap with the winner, only Esteban Ocon finished the race, closing the top 5.

Verstappen maintained his overall lead as Leclerc moved up to second in the championship, beating Sergio Pérez, who failed to finish the race.
