Lance Stroll finished the season in tenth place in the individual standings, 132 points behind teammate Fernando Alonso. However, Aston Martin boss Mike Krak is happy with the Canadian driver’s form and expects Lance to improve further in 2024.
Mike Krak: “Lance is in good shape; he is relaxed and confident, which is clearly visible in his body language. It’s amazing how much progress he’s made this year. An injury suffered before the start of the season set him back, but he showed real fighting spirit to get back behind the wheel as soon as possible. Despite everything he had been through, Lance remained very fast.
As the season progressed, he faced a lot of pressure, but Lance handled it with great confidence. In fact, I would like the season to continue, because in the last three Grands Prix Lance has been very fast.
We can rely on his speed, that should have happened. The most important thing is that he picks up next year where he left off at the end of this season. Lance has overcome many difficulties and is doing well now.”
