Kimi Raikkonen and her family are relaxing somewhere in Lapland this New Year’s Eve, but, as always, prefer an active holiday. For example, together with friends, including the famous racer Tony Wilander, who once won the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice in the GTE Pro class, Kimi likes to ride snowmobiles.
One of these journeys through the forest-tundra of Lapland lasted 5 hours, with participants covering 160 km.
“We had a lot of fun and enjoyed snowmobiling with our friends!” – Kimi commented and shared several photos taken during this walk on his social media pages.
It should be added that Kimi and his friends not only had fun, but successfully combined business with pleasure, since this whole enterprise also had an advertising component: they rode the famous Finnish-made Lynx snowmobiles. Moreover, this equipment is developed and built precisely in Lapland, in the city of Rovaniemi, at a local company owned by the Canadian company Bombardier Recreational Products.
