Christian Horner has been included in the royal honors list and will receive the title CBE in 2024 for his services to motorsport, including becoming Commander of the Order of the British Empire.
Ten years ago, the Red Bull Racing boss was appointed OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) when his team won the Constructors’ Championship four times in a row, and has now been awarded a higher knighthood.
Christian Horner: “When I was awarded the OBE title ten years ago it came as a surprise to me, and now I have been nominated for a second prize and am receiving the CBE title – this is a great honor for me, for which I am very grateful.
It is a huge privilege to lead and work for such a great team as Red Bull Racing, and to work in an industry that makes such an important contribution to the UK economy.
“I am extremely proud of Red Bull’s achievements in Formula 1, but also in the technology sector in general, and it is a huge honor for me to see these efforts recognised.”
