Former Benetton and Renault team leader Flavio Briatore mentioned during the Caschi d’Oro event the goals the Scuderia should strive for in the coming season.
Flavio Briatore: “This year’s Ferrari season consisted of black and white stripes. At times they were competitive in qualifying, but then lost in the race. Let’s hope they improve this winter. For the sake of all Italians and our sport, I hope Ferrari can do better, although winning the world title will not be easy.
Ferrari must aim for the podium in every race. Let’s hope the Frenchman will help Ferrari win, as I once helped the French team.
I hope the competition becomes tighter this year, otherwise the season will be sad. People want to see a real fight for the title, not someone else’s dominance.”
