Mercedes and Williams have extended their contracts

Mercedes-Benz will continue to supply Williams with powertrains and technical support until 2030.

After McLaren, Williams became the second Mercedes customer team to confirm a contract extension until 2030 – for four seasons following the change in engine regulations in 2026.

Toto Wolffhead of Mercedes-Benz Motorsport: “We are pleased to confirm that Williams Racing has become our second customer team to which we will be supplying forces under the 2026 regulations.

Today’s news underlines the strength of Mercedes-Benz’s proposition in Formula 1 and not only confirms but also strengthens our motorsport strategy. Since 2014 we have continued to develop our relationship with Williams. As the team lays the foundation to compete at the forefront, we are happy to support them with the supply of our power units.”
