This week, Stake F1 driver Guanyu Zhou visited Shanghai, where he took part in the presentation of the Chinese Grand Prix, which returns to the calendar after a four-year break and will be held from April 19 to 21. For the first time in history, this stage will be held in a sprint format on Saturday.
Guanyu Zhou: “The sprint stage is interesting for the fans, but makes the task a little more difficult for the riders – we will have less time to adapt. I feel a certain nervousness, but I’m looking forward to performing in front of my fans.
I have almost no experience in Shanghai, but I have watched the recordings of races from previous years. I want to earn points and show my best form here.
Unfortunately, we missed several good opportunities in 2022 and in 2023 the car turned out to be less competitive. However, I have gained the necessary experience, although this has not affected the results, but now previous mistakes and failures motivate me even more. I’m ready to fight.
I hope to play a more important role in working with the team this season, to help work with the car throughout the weekend and find a way for its further development.”
