At the Zandvoort circuit, where the Dutch Grand Prix is held, reconstruction of the paddock and pit lane has started. The builders will extend the pit lane and add pits for two teams, bringing the total number of pits to twelve. The aim is to have all work completed by the end of April.
“We want to separate the pits a bit, so that the teams have more space and the pit lane becomes safer,” said circuit director Robert van Overdrijk. – The increase in the number of boxes will also lead to the expansion of the second floor of the pit building, creating more space for the Paddock Club organizers.
The additional space will be used not only by Formula 1, but also by ourselves during various corporate events throughout the year, so the investment in the renovation will pay for itself quite quickly.”
In 2024, the Dutch Grand Prix will take place from August 23 to 25.
