Ford has high expectations of a return to Formula 1 in 2026. The company’s CEO, Jim Farley, expects that Ford will compete for victories from the first season thanks to the partnership with Red Bull Racing.
Jim Farley: “I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with the team in Milton Keynes and with Adrian Newey. I think we are on the right track. It seems like 2026 is still a long way away, but we still have a lot to do with the powertrain. However, I am very happy with the progress. I would like to provide more details, but for now I can only say that we are on the right track.
We chose the best team to work with. We have the best drivers and the best engineers. We’ve brought together the best people at Ford to support Red Bull globally. But the team in Milton Keynes responsible for the power plant is working at the highest level. We’re going first class to the top of the podium.”
