Valtteri Bottas finished 49th in his cycling race

Today the RADL GRVL gravel cycling race took place near the Australian city of Adelaide, organized by Valtteri Bottas and Tiffany Cromwell, his girlfriend, who is a professional cyclist.

About 200 people of both sexes took part in the competition, and judging by reports from Australia, everything was a success, thanks in part to the good weather.

“The first day of the race is over! – said the organizers. – The weather was cool, but the competition was just fire! Congratulations to everyone who reached the finish line, and especially to the winners of the men’s and women’s competitions. This was our pilot project, but we already want to come back in a year’s time to hold the next race.”

Of course Valtteri Bottas also participated. He completed the distance of 108 km in the 49th time of 105 participants, but at the same time showed the 18th result in his age category.

“Our first cycling race was great! – the Finnish Formula 1 driver shared on social networks. – Thanks to our entire team, volunteers, participants and in general everyone who made this all possible! The fun continues tomorrow.”
