Red Bull Racing is known for its catchy commercials. A few weeks before the very first Miami Grand Prix, the team presented a full-length mini-film about Sergio Perez taking a road trip from New York to Miami behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car.
Sergio raced the city streets of the Big Apple, conquered the wetlands of the Everglades and ended his journey at Hard Rock Stadium, around which the Formula 1 circuit was built.
Sergio Perez: “I enjoyed my first road trip with Red Bull. I remember Daniel Ricciardo driving a Formula 1 car across the Golden Gate Bridge a few years ago, but I never thought I would get involved in something like this.
I think Miami is the perfect place for Formula 1 – an interesting city where you can feel its energy. The track also looks great, so I’m looking forward to meeting the fans. On stage in Austin I always feel at home – I think it will be the same in Miami.
